《正官格》
★⽉上有官星者是也；时上兼有财星者，真贵⼈也。
★怕沖，忌⻅伤官七杀，⼤运亦然；喜印杀，喜⾝旺，喜财星，岁运同。
★官星宜露，岂可藏之！似乎为官者，显扬威德，则⽤之国家者，⽅为⼤丈夫；岂受⼈
之压伏者，则为⾂下之⾂，岂⾮小⼈。
★正⽓官星，切忌刑沖；多则论杀，⼀位名真。
★官藏杀浅，露杀官升；今则为破，事恐不成

《杂⽓财官格》
★⾠戌丑未是也！经⽈：『财官印绶全备，藏蓄于四季之中，⾠戌丑未是为之。』如官
露印露财露，则不妨也。
★⾠宫，则有⼄木癸⽔戊⼟；戌宫，则有⾟⾦丁⽕戊⼟；丑宫，则有癸⽔⾟⾦⼰⼟；未
宫，则有⼄木丁⽕⼰⼟也。

《印绶格》
★此格⼤要⽣旺，忌死绝，要四柱中有官星为妙；⽉上印绶最紧！⾏官印运便发。
★⻅财运破印，反为贪财坏印，不利也；岁运亦然。

《杂⽓印绶格》
★⾠戌丑未也；亦忌财，要⾏官运。

《合禄格》
★以六戊⽇为主！以庚申时合卯中⼄木为戊官。四柱有甲⼄字丙字⺒字刑坏⼦申，丙伤
庚字，则减分数；岁君⼤运亦然。
★六癸⽇为主，喜逢庚申时！⽤申时合⺒中戊⼟，癸⽇得官星。若四柱中有戊字并⺒字
刑坏了申时，或丙字及伤庚申时，则减分数；岁君⼤运亦然。

《归禄格》
★此格假令六甲⽇⽣⼈得寅时，谓之归禄！盖⽇禄在寅，余皆倣此。但四柱全不⻅官
杀，⻅之则难归矣！
★喜⾏⾝旺运，兼⾏⻝神伤官财运，亦可发福。怕沖破。
★⼀称『⽇禄归时格』。实是时⽀⽐肩，本⾮佳胜；若财星太旺，喜⻅⽐肩帮⾝任财，
⽅喜以归禄为⽤。
★所谓忌官杀者；⼀⻅官杀，则禄被剋去，不能助⾝，故为破格。此仅指⾝弱以归禄助旺者⾔之。

《拱禄格》
★此格只有五⽇：丁⺒⽇⻅丁未，⼰未⽇⻅⼰⺒，戊⾠⻅戊午，癸丑⻅癸亥，癸亥⻅癸
丑！忌填实。
★最怕沖⽇时拱位，⼜怕四柱中有伤，⽇⼲遇杀；皆拱不住，则减分数，岁君⼤运
同。

《拱贵格》
★以⽇⼲甲字取贵⼈，甲戊庚⽜⽺是也。
★贵⼈⼤忌填实贵位；怕刑沖了⽇时拱位；⼜怕四柱有官沖⾝、七杀之类；皆拱不住，
则减分数，岁君⼤运亦然。
★此格有六⽇：甲寅⽇⻅甲⼦时，壬⼦⽇⻅壬寅时，甲申⽇⻅甲戌时，戊申⽇⻅戊午
时，⼄未⽇⻅⼄⾣时，⾟丑⽇⻅⾟卯时！

《井栏叉格》
★此格庚申庚⼦庚⾠三处，须要四柱中申⼦⾠三位全！不必三个庚字；若有三庚尤妙。
只要庚⽇⽣申年，⽉时或戊⼦戊⾠不妨；但得⽀是申⼦⾠全也。若时遇丙⼦，则是偏官；若
时是申时，则是归禄格；而⾮井栏叉矣。
★此格四柱中⻅寅午戌三字，则沖坏矣！庚⽤丁为官，以申⼦⾠三合沖寅午戌⽕局，庚
⽇得官星。若四柱中有⺒字丙丁字，则减分数。岁君⼤运亦然。
★⾏运如正⽓；若⾏东⽅财地，或南⽅皆好。

《⻜天禄⻢格》
★此格以庚壬⼆⽇⽤⼦字多，沖午中丁⼰为官星！要四柱中有寅字并未字或戌字，得⼀
字可合为妙。
★如六庚⽇六壬⽇以⼦沖午字，庚⽇以⼦沖午中丁⽕为官星；若四柱中有丁字并午字，
则减分数，岁君亦忌。
★如六壬⽇以⼦沖午中⼰⼟为官星；若四柱中有⼰字并午字，则减分数，岁君⼤运，亦
须忌之。
★以⾟癸⽇⽤亥字，沖⺒中丙戊为官星；要四柱有申字并⾣字或丑字，得⼀字可合为
妙。
★六癸⽇以亥沖⺒；若四柱有戌字，则亥不能去沖矣！岁君⼤运亦忌。
★如六⾟⽇以亥沖⺒中丙字为官星；若四柱中有丙字并⺒字，则减分数，岁君⼤运亦
忌。运连太岁轻，再⻅⺒字，有祸矣！

《六阴朝阳格》
★喜⾏西⽅，东南次之；最忌北⽅。
★此格以六⾟⽇为主！⽤丙⽕为正官，喜逢戊⼟，戊来动丙，⾟⽇得官星。⼦字则要⼀
位，多则不沖；若四柱中有丙字丁字午字，则减分数，⼤运亦同。

《壬骑⻰背格》
★此格以⾠多者贵，寅多者富！
★壬⽇坐⾠⼟，以丁为财，以⼰为官。壬⽇以⾠沖戌中丁戊，壬⾠⽇得财官；而寅午戌
三合。
★或壬⽇坐寅，却要年⽉时上多聚⾠字，⽅可⽤。
★若壬⾠⽇，有年⽉时上皆在寅字，只为富命；以有午戌为财得地。
★若年⽉时上⾠字多，则沖出财来；所以贵也。

《刑合格》
★此格以六癸⽇⽣⼈为主！⽤戊⼟为正⽓官星，喜逢甲寅时，⽤寅刑⺒中戊⼟，癸⽇得
官星；如庚寅刑不成，惟甲寅时是。
★若四柱中有戊字⺒字，则减分数；怕庚寅伤甲字，刑坏了；忌申字，则减分数，岁君
⼤运亦忌。

《炎上格》
★且如丙丁⼆⽇⻅寅午戌全，或⺒午未全亦是！但忌⽔乡⾦地，喜⾏东⽅运，怕沖，要
⾝旺，岁运同。
★炎上者，⽕之势急，⼜得⽕局，浑然成势；⽕为⽂明之象，值之者，当为朱紫之贵，
盖⾮寻常之命也。
★此格乃⽇⼲丙丁⽕，地⽀⺒午未南⽅、或寅午戌⽕局；全⽆半点壬癸之⽓为合。

《稼穑格》
★以戊⼰⽇⽣，值⾠戌丑未全者是也！忌东⽅运及北⽅财运，喜⾏西南。
★所谓稼穑者，俱从于⼟⽀⼲；重⻅则为⼟之⼀类，深有培养之功。
★主⼈多信、⼈品重厚丰肥、⽣财有道，斯为富贵⼈矣！
★此格乃⽇⼲戊⼰⼟，地⽀⻅⾠戌丑未！⽆木剋制者为合。

《从⾰格》
★此格以庚⾟⽇，⻅⺒⾣丑⾦局全，或申⾣戌全者是也！忌南⽅⽕运，喜庚⾟旺运。
★⻅亥卯未者，为之⾦木间⾰也；忌沖刑库破运，岁运同。
★此格乃⽇⼲庚⾟⾦，地⽀申⾣戌西⽅、或⺒⾣丑⾦局！全⽆半点丙丁之⽓为合。

《润下格》
★且如壬癸⽇要申⼦⾠全，或亥⼦丑全是也！忌⾠戌丑未官乡，喜西⽅运，不宜东南，
怕沖剋，岁运同。
★润下者，天⼲地⽀浑是⽔，如湖海汪洋，翫以⽆际；主⼈清秀量洪。
★倘遇⼟运，必主淹滞。
★若⽣于冬⽉，⼜为奇特者也。
★此格乃⽇⼲壬癸⽔，地⽀亥⼦丑北⽅、或申⼦⾠⽔局！全⽆半点戊⼰之⽓为合。

《⽇德秀⽓格》
★要天⼲三个⼄字，地⽀⺒⾣丑全！
★更有丙⼦、壬⼦、⾟卯、丁⾣⽇，亦是秀⽓；怕沖剋。⼤运同。

《福德格》
★此格只要⼰丑⽇主，地⽀⺒⾣丑全者是！忌⽕乡、官乡。嫌沖破。
★福德⾮独⼰⼟，五阴皆有。
★阴⼟⼰丑⼰⺒⼰⾣，阴⽕丁⺒丁⾣丁丑，阴⽔癸⺒癸⾣癸丑，阴⾦⾟⺒⾟⾣⾟丑，阴
木⼄⺒⼄⾣⼄丑！忌刑沖破害。岁运同。

《伤官⽣财格》
★且如⼄⽇⽣，地⽀⻅寅午戌局全，则⾃以戊⼰为财。
★要⾏⽕乡财运，⾝旺运；怕官乡，忌刑沖倒，则不吉。

《伤官带杀格》
★且如甲⼄⽇⽣，寅午戌地⽀全。若⼲头有庚⾟，则藉庚⾟为权；⽕制之为福。
★最要⾏旺运，忌⻅财，得中和为贵。

《岁德扶财格》
★且如甲⽇⻅戊⼰年是也。
★若财命有⽓，则主其⼈得祖上物业。⾝弱者，虽有祖业，当耗散而⽆承也。

《岁德扶杀格》
★且如甲⽇⻅庚年是也。
★正如年为君位，⽇为⾂位；⾂得君权。然⼜以年为祖，⽇为⼰⾝；七杀有制，则祖上
曾有要职也。

《弃命从财格》
★假如⼄⽇⻅⾠戌丑未，财神极旺；⼄木四柱⽆依，则舍而从之。
★主其⼈平⽣惧内，为填房赘继之⼈。财者妻也。⾝⽆所托，倚妻成⽴，故为此论。
★⽇主衰弱、⽆根⽆印，而财星当令；即弃命相从。喜财官旺地，忌⻅印⽐破格。
诗诀★⽇主⽆根财犯重，全凭时印旺⾝宫；逢⽣必主兴家业，破印纷纷总是空。

《弃命从杀格》
★且如⼄⽇⼲，⻅⺒⾣丑⾦局⼤盛；⼜⽆制杀。⾝主⽆⽓，只得捨⾝而从之。
★要⾏杀旺及财乡，忌⽇主有根及⽐肩之地。

《夹丘格》
★亦名拱财。此格⽤⽇⽀与时⽀，更拱其财。
★且如甲寅⽇甲⼦时，虚拱丑宫⼰⼟为财库。⼜如⼄卯⽇丁⺒时；甲午⽇壬申时；癸⾣
⽇癸亥时是也。
★要虚拱，不要填实，及有牵绊，则拱不得；更要⽇主⾃旺，或财旺运，皆吉。
★夹丘之格少⼈知，拱夹休填墓库中；不犯柱中官杀位，⼀⽣清贵显当时。

《从强格》
★从强之局，即为从印之意！盖以四柱印绶重重、⽐劫叠叠，⽇主⼜当令；绝⽆⼀毫财
星、官杀之⽓。谓之⼆⼈同⼼，强之极矣！故可顺不可逆；⾏⽐劫运则吉，印绶运亦佳。
★⻝伤运有印绶制之，凶。财官运乃逆其⽓势，⼤凶。

《从财格》
★从财之格，以⼲⽀财多而旺，⽇元弱而⽆根；不得已弃命以从财星之旺势也！
★弃命从财，即忌劫⽐之运，破其从势；最喜⻝伤吐秀⽣财，不但功名显达，而且⼀⽣
⽆起倒凶灾。

《从官杀格》
★从官杀格，以⽇主全⽆⼀点根⽓，四柱纯然官杀；不得已弃命而从之也！
★从官杀，就要有财⽣起官杀；⾏财杀运，以⽣助所从之⽓也。
★最忌本⾝逢印⽐助起根⽓，即为破格。

《从⼉格》
★从⼉之格，亦称『顺局』。顺者，我⽣之也；只⻅⼉多，⻝伤多也！
★构⻔闾者，⽉建逢⻝伤也；⽇为⻔⼾，必要⻝伤在提纲也。不论⾝强⾝弱者，仍在⽣
★我⼉⼜⻅我⼉者；必要局中有财，以成其⽣育之意也。

命宫之吉凶还有以下趋向：
　　子宫：天贵星，志气不凡，富裕高贵。
　　丑宫：天厄星，离祖劳心，先难后吉。
　　寅宫：天权星，聪明大器，中年有权。
　　卯宫：天破星，慷慨疏财，清高傲物。
　　辰宫：天奸星，事多反覆，足智多谋。
　　巳宫：天文星，文章振发，女命良缘。
　　午宫：天福星，荣华吉命，清闲安乐。
　　未宫：天驿星，一生劳碌，离祖创业。
　　申宫：天孤星，不宜早婚，女命妨夫。
　　酉宫：天刃星，性情刚直，易招是非。
　　戌宫：天艺星，多才多艺，艺道有名。
　　亥宫：天寿星，心慈性灵，助人为乐。

命宫为子午卯酉：多主人感情开放，多情多欲，一生小心情事生忧。　

命宫为寅申巳亥：多主人似马奔腾不息，流年不利的时候，容易见到血光、灾病的事情发生。　命

宫为辰戌丑未：一生事职多变化，或常搬迁。

命宫是命主居住的房子，应该安稳牢固，不宜受到刑冲克害。命宫受到刑冲克害时多主不吉利。

1、命宫旺衰以月令为标准，与四柱相同。
2、命宫可补四柱之不足，在命局中无用神，有无贵人均可在命宫查找。
3、命宫临贵人可得到贵人之助。
4、命宫值迁移驿马星，一生环境多变，走动多。
5、命宫宜生旺，不宜衰败，是喜用神则吉，是忌神则凶，神煞居吉神者吉，居凶煞者凶。
6、命宫干支也可作为一柱，参加命局岁运进行五行平衡和论吉凶。

八字命宫对于预测人生的运势和疾病等有着极高的准确性，但是由于自古以来各种流派对命宫宫位确定的差异，使得命宫这种预测术几近失传；命宫宫位的确定和太阳的运动有关，其实只要正确确定命宫，就能分析一个人的运势。

【金匱】
命帶此星，有機會成為各行業中之傑出人才，在理財及管理之能力方面強，可當幹部主管職位。

【紅鸞】
命帶此星，一般都是男俊女美，在求財方面較能順心如意，也主常會接觸喜事。「紅鸞星動、滿面春風。喜氣盈門、男女喜慶。」是好星。

【天喜】
命帶此星，男命相貌堂堂，女命面貌清秀，天天都是好日子，可能有桃花運喔 !

【喪門】
命帶此星，平常儘量避免送葬、探病，以免因沖犯煞氣，導致生病而轉為壞運。流年不佳時凡事會比較不順或有損財之事發生。( 宜常祈福三官大帝、觀音大士 ) 自可平安、順利。

【歲破】
命帶此星主破財，虛耗及多波折，故一生中，如遇歲破之年，若不小心注意防範，會有較大的破財機會，同時亦主一切不安，身體欠佳。( 宜常祈福三寶佛、安太歲君 ) 自可平安、順利。

【勾絞】
命帶此星是比較容易惹麻煩之星，一生中多是非麻煩，宜防口舌是非、訴訟之事發生，少管閒事就對啦 !

【五鬼】
主一生中易犯官司、訴訟，易受小人陷害或連累，遇事不講實話或常會說謊，甚至口出狂言，處事要小心為要。( 宜常祈福玄天上帝、文昌帝君 ) 自可平安、順利。

【白虎】
為刑傷之星，入命較易犯官司是非，且身體易刑傷、有血光，易破財，較會有交通意外事故。女命帶此星，個性較剛烈，行事果斷。( 宜常祈福南斗星君 ) 自可平安、順利。

【天狗】
為刑傷之星，入命身體易有損傷、破相，如流年逢之，防損傷、交通事故、小人暗害、疾病產生。( 宜常祈福玄天上帝、文昌帝君 ) 自可平安、順利。

【桃花】
桃花之好壞，須配合命局喜用五行及吉凶神煞來參考論斷。
在年、月柱為「外桃花」。
在日、時柱為「内桃花」。

若四柱地支有三柱以上的子、午、卯、酉者叫「遍野桃花」。命帶桃花者，男女多半容貌俊或秀麗，人緣極佳，為人多情，有時較貪慾。心情不定，行為不檢，好花錢，智慧。

【血刃】
命帶血刃者，生平易發生意外受傷、流血、手術等事，對於尖銳物如：凶刀、凶器等物，比平常人敏感，接觸時要小心。

【元辰】
歲運逢之，凡事顛三倒四，生活較不得寧息，可能會有外難，凡事較不能結合之意，主其人面有顴骨，鼻低口大，聲音沉濁。

【伏吟】
書上說：「反吟伏吟、淚吟吟。」( 反吟又叫沖 ) ，伏吟代表痛苦，憂鬱，破財，也主傷害要小心，如能將其合化最好。

【劫煞】

【災煞】
主血光及水火之災難也，也主較會墮落，若有福神相助。多主威武有權。

【六厄】
一生易遭逢困難，主一生前途較艱辛。如逢吉神同柱相助則會轉吉。

【鐵掃星】
「男用女家財、女用男家財。」有鐵掃者主一生較易破敗，也較難聚財。

【天德】
天德入命，一切皆能逢凶化吉，一生少凶險。能得福氣，常能絕處逢生，會有貴人來幫助。天德為福德之星，品性仁慈，好善喔 !

【月德】
月德入命，一切皆能逢凶化吉，去災禍而能招吉祥，人命得天月二德，主心中慈善，道德涵養高尚，凡事得人心，也為福壽之命。

【月破】
乃虛耗之神也。入命主不利身體，易破財，事業易不振。居住之環境常變化，也常會與人有口舌不和之事發生。

【天醫】
為掌管疾病之星。天醫入命。有機會可做良醫。學習醫術比平常人更有天份，做事容易事半功倍。亦適合學習玄學、五術、哲學、心理等學科。

【天乙貴人】
天乙乃尊貴之神也，所至之地一切凶煞自然而避，凡事能逢凶化吉。入命主聰明，有智慧，人緣佳，易得人助，能交際，有功名，運不錯，可得富貴也。

【學堂】
主才華出眾，聰明俊秀。一生中發展性不錯，會讀書，讀書可有成就。適合公職或教師之職。

【金輿】
得金輿男女命可得良緣或得配偶是有財富者。可蔭六親，可得富貴。人際關係良好，男女長相柔和，親切，言行慢條斯理，生活快樂，親情濃厚。

【祿神】
祿神入命之人，行事較積極也較率性。凡事幹勁十足，行事積極，一生得安逸，財源可順利。祿最喜逢驛馬，祿馬交馳，財源廣進暢通。

【文昌】
入命主可逢凶可化吉，為人聰明靈敏，會變巧。文筆佳有才氣，氣質溫文，重內涵，也注重儀表。

【沐浴】
也是桃花的一種，一生中比較會有男女糾紛之事產生。

【紅艷】
全名為「桃花紅艷煞」。主人見人愛，多情多慾，具有風流浪漫氣質，男女相貌俊秀美麗，結婚者易有婚外情。

【飛刃】
身體易有刑傷，易有血光，易破財，較會有交通意外事故，行為要注意。

【墓庫】
個性內向固執，凡事較會隱藏，才華深藏不露，喜追根究底，做事像是不積極，但具潛能，遇事會有較多的疑問，常有精神不振現象，體質弱。

【羊刃】
屬刀傷。其性剛強勇猛。入命，主個性積極躁進，容易感情用事，行事激烈，較不利六親，做事敢做敢當。適武職、軍警、外科醫師、技術人員之工作。

【流霞】
男命主口舌是非，車禍、災禍、路中或刀下亡。女命主產厄，流產、生產開刀、產厄亡。

【將星】
入命具傑出之領導能力，易掌權柄。將星忌會凶星，會助長凶煞之力。將星坐財，主掌財政。坐官、掌官貴權位。坐殺、掌生殺之權。將星是一顆權力之星，文武兩相宜。

【驛馬】
入命，主奔波忙碌，經常外出，外向，心性較不穩定，適合出外發展，可能常更換職業。適合從事行業為外交工作、外務人員、演員、司機、飲食店、作家、旅遊業、船員、特種營業、推銷商。

【亡神】
又名官符，失去也，入命為喜用時，有權有威，深謀略算計，富心機，凡事不露底，城府較深。入命為忌神時，心胸狹窄急躁，酒色風流。若與凶煞同柱，其凶性更明顯。主官司訴訟，失勢也。

【孤辰】
命帶孤辰者，性較孤獨，面無和氣，較不利六親，同柱坐生旺稍可化解，如坐死絕不好，一生運較生不逢時，孤辰以日柱，時柱為重，六親或夫妻或子女互動較少。孤辰在年柱時，最好過房，若不過房，有可能會刑剋父母。

男命帶孤辰，正偏財星又逢死絕，表婚緣不佳。女命帶孤寡，如正官七殺逢死絕，也表婚姻不美，宜多溝通。

【寡宿】
命帶孤寡者，性較孤獨，面無和氣，較不利六親，同柱坐生旺稍可化解，如坐死絕不好，一生運較生不逢時，孤寡以日柱，時柱為重，六親或夫妻或子女互動較少。
孤寡在年柱時，最好過房，若不過房，有可能會刑剋父母。

男命帶孤寡，正偏財星又逢死絕，表婚緣不佳。女命帶孤寡，如正官七殺逢死絕，也表婚姻不美，宜多溝通。

【華蓋】
入命主思想獨特，一生具備才藝、技藝、藝術、音樂、設計，具審美之天份，聰明好學喜研究哲理、玄學、宗教等學問，有出世之心。為人寡慾，孤僻。與神佛有緣。一生中可發揮個人潛能，具孤獨之性向，六親較無多大助力。

華蓋喜逢正印正官 ( 同柱最佳 )，則是在官場社會上能有地位及成就。華蓋落空亡，比較容易走僧道、和尚、尼姑，或孤寡路線。華蓋落死絕或被沖剋，則幼兒較多災多病，不易扶養，生平亦多是非不順。

【隔角】
命帶隔角一生易犯官司訴訟，或牢獄之災。據經驗顯示命帶隔角者，並非一定主牢獄官訟之災，有的人只是做事或出外，易遭困難阻礙隔絕之情況發生。

【日破】
命帶日破表是個性不太穩定，較不受拘束，也較不安於家中，或配偶身體差，或夫妻較有離異之可能，或夫妻間易爭吵；或與子女不和，或子女健康差。

【三奇】
以日為主，順排者才算是，逆排者非也。

In 2020, When Zodiac is at Tai Sui (太岁) Position：Governs 1 year of prosperity and calamity. When TaiSui is in one’s Zodiac, usually causes emotional roller-coaster, rash decision making resulting in loss of wealth or property. With TaiSui also dwells sorrowful star and gossips, affects reputation. Not advisable to plan marriage, in event there is a need to; careful date selection might be necessary. In this year, it is beneficial in having more positive thoughts, deeds of gratitude and slowing down the pace.

2 weeks into 2020, one of the questions receive frequently over that pass week regarding BAZI (八字) or 4 pillars (四柱)  was “I got 4 resource element in my bazi, what does it mean? ” … “I got 3 wealth and 3 output in my chart, how do I read? “…  “Does it represents my personality ?” … so on and so forth.

Hence, decided to spend some time and pen down an overview as a personal note and hopefully as a useful reference point for some of my peers who needs to manage people, and those in HR, Hiring functions and Team-Building roles.

Everything here is a best effort estimate, nothing mathematical.

First, we need a BAZI (八字) or 4 pillars (四柱) chart. Go to Google and search for BAZI calculator or download one in app (thanks to the pioneers before us, the program is more or less fine tune and homogeneous).

A brief understanding of the 5 element cycle （五行生克）would be good. Water nurture Wood (Plants), Wood (Dried) feeds Fire, Fire create Earth, Earth give birth to Metal (Minerals), Metal condenses and dew forms Water etc.

After you have done that, input date of birth to get the BAZI (八字) or 4 pillars (四柱)  chart. Which has 8 Chinese character. Hence, 8 is the denominator. Assuming the person day pillar is Wood. And, has 3 or more Water character, Water represents Resource. Giving a hint that the person gravitate towards Resource profile.

If, the person has 3 Water character (Resource) and 3 Wood character (Friend), we can conclude that it’s a mixture of Resources and Friend Profile.

Take a step further to include the current luck cycle. The denominator becomes 10 character. If more than 4, the same line of reasoning applies.

Likewise to guage the current year, just include the annual pillar into the assessment. The denominator now becomes 12 and the cut off for nominator become 5 character.

Wealth Characteristic (正财/ 偏财)
If the person chart gravitate towards more wealth (正财/ 偏财), he/ she is likely to exhibit a personality that is more Active, Objective Oriented and Results and Control Driven.

The D is highly motivated by new challenges, setting and achieving goals, and seeing tangible results. They appreciate receiving verbal recognition from others as well as rewards. They enjoy power and authority to take risks and make decisions. Freedom from routine and mundane tasks is important. Since repetition is frustrating for the D, changing environments in which to work and play can be highly motivating.

When working with a D, be direct, to the point, and brief. Focus on tangible points and talk about “what” instead of “how”. Focus on business instead of social topics and try to be results oriented. The I Personality Style aren’t afraid to be the center of attention. They are lively, enthusiastic, optimistic, talkative and persuasive. The downside gravitates towards impulsive and emotional. This Personality Type tends to trust others naturally, truly enjoys being around others, and functions best when around people and work best in teams. They gravitates toward argumentative (active) or emo/ feeling hurt (passive) when being told they are wrong or unappreciated.

The I DISC Style is motivated by the approval, flattery, praise, popularity or acceptance by others. They enjoy freedom from too many rules or regulations and gravitate towards a friendly and fun environment. They excel most when they can be the talker, the presenter, the one who builds rapport or works in teams, but needs another person to handle the details.

When working with an I Personality Type, it’s important to build rapport and be friendly. Approach them in a favorable and friendly environment. Give them plenty of opportunity to verbalize their ideas, as they usually have very create thoughts and are great problem solvers. The S Personality Type is a natural counsellor, is known for being steady, stable, and predictable. They are even-tempered, friendly, sympathetic with others, and very generous with loved ones. The S is understanding and listens well. Preferring close, personal relationships, the S is very opened with loved ones, but can also be possessive at times and hold them close. They tends to be good with kids, thus making them excellent candidate for early childhood roles.

The S Personality Type is motivated by safety and security. They want to avoid conflict and exist in peaceful environments and around groups that are at harmony. They truly appreciate recognition for their loyalty and dependability.

When working with S Personality Types, try to be personable and build rapport. The sooner they feel comfortable with you, the sooner they will open up to you, especially if they see genuine interest in them as a person. Provide them with specifics and clarifications for tasks they are asked to do and try to explain the “how” questions. If instituting change, be patient with them, explain your reasoning, and give them time to adjust. It will make them uncomfortable at first.

The C DISC Styles are accurate, precise, detail-oriented, and conscientious. They are extremely analytically and systematically and make decisions carefully with plenty of research and information to back it up. They need time, the longer they have the better the decision. The C holds high standards for both themselves and others. Because they focus on the details and see what many other styles do not, they tend to be good problem solvers and very creative people. They appear to be cold and emotionless.

The C is motivated by information and logic. They have very high standards of quality and are motivated by being well informed, researching before deciding, having clear parameters and instructions, doing work accurately and correctly, and seeing a project through to the end.

When working with a C Personality Style, it’s best to be prepare when possible. Do your research and prepare your case in advance. Pay attention to the details because this is what the C focuses on. When you can support a statement or idea with accurate data or examples, that is helpful. Submit a job description or specs for the project to give them parameters and details and talk about how different tasks fit into the big picture plan. DiSC Profile: Influence + Stable

Beginning 2020, I’ve been answering BAZI questions for a while. Decided to pen this down as a takeaway for people who has affinity to my website.

Common question asked is: “my BAZI lacking water, how do I introduce water into my chart?” Besides the conventional way of using water sector in Feng Shui, numerology that signifies water, name selection, colours and crystals.

One contemporary way is to really understand what it means by lacking water in the BAZI chart; which I think is a better solution to work at the problem. For example, if 壬 water is missing in chart, the lack of clarity and inability to be purposeful is causing you the problem. Or if 甲 wood is missing, the lack of conviction is hindering your success.

Inversely, if you have a 壬 water in the month pillar (for example), your have the power of clarity in the work environment, with your peers, friends, colleague and siblings. And, if you aren’t doing that, either you have not activate that part of your BAZI or you are not using your BAZI components effectively. So, make a resolution this year to get the books, talks and courses to level up that skills set.
