As a practitioner, my personal values reflected through Chinese Metaphysics is in my approach towards Fate (命) and Destiny (運). Fate (命) is the cards we’ve been dealt with; Destiny (運) is how we’ll play the deck; and I often quote:
“命雖天定， 運由己求 ”
I enjoy face-to-face consults, challenging the Querent’s personal worldview and helping them improve their choices with Chinese Metaphysics (玄學).
As a learner, I embraces a shift in mental models that the 4 Pillars (四柱命理) is about seeking harmony and creating flows (instead of trying to balance all the elements in a destiny chart).
And that Destiny (運) is a journey rather than an acquiescent of Fate (命); Feng Shui (風水), Date Selection (擇日), QiMen (奇門) and LiuRen (六壬) are my companions in adventure.
In the study of Chinese Metaphysics, I develop a reverence for the “Universal Law” and the similarities that can be drawn from “I-Ching” or “Book of Change” (周易).
I believe in Affinity (緣); the interconnectedness between heaven (天), earth (地), man (人), deity (神), soul (靈) and the universe (大道). I’m thankful to those who came before me, to those who taught me, and to the community that fuels my passion in Chinese Metaphysics.
“緣起老師 ”－ Thanksgiving to my “Teacher of Origin”. Since 2011 (till 2016), Mr Kwek (郭老師) mentored me on 4 Pillars (四柱命理), Date Selection and its application/ relationship with Feng Shui (風水). It was with his guidance, I begin seeing 4 Pillars (四柱命理) with karmic lenses and understood the concept of merits and virtues (陽善陰德).
“Seeing the flow”－ In 2014, I was taught by Master Lee (李洪成), he help me see the flow of energy ‘mathematically’ in 4 Pillars (四柱命理), and later with Master Liu (刘文元) in ‘Mao-Shan’ style QMDJ (奇门遁甲). This additional specialisation allows me to help many querents who are at life’s crossroads.
“Each one, Teach one”－ Since 2014, I’ve been giving back to the Chinese Metaphysics Community via Google+, Facebook and FiveArts Forum.
In 2016, I was accepted as an Affiliate Member of the International Feng Shui Association. The Code of Practice, now forms part of my guiding principle for consultation and Feng Shui assessment.
Moving into 2017, I was blessed with the privilege of learning「無常派」Xuan Kong Flying Stars Feng Shui from Master Dennis Lai; Founder of Classic Feng Shui Mastery School of Chinese Metaphysics. Master Dennis not only taught XKFS, he grounded me with the needed knowledge to mature further in Xuan Kong Feng Shui (玄空風水). I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for his guidance.
In the same year, I achieve my DiSC Accreditation, adopting the science of personality profiling with 4 Pillars (四柱命理).
Attracted by Energy, Intuition, Higher Senses and Inner Guidance in Metaphysics, I further these developments with ASHATI Institute in 2021.
Journeying into 2023, I’d like to thank all those Querent who encourages and supported me as I made humble progression to an Associate Member of the International Feng Shui Association (AiFSA).

“To Live in Service” － As a Seeker of Chinese Metaphysics (玄學顧問), a BaZi Profiler (四柱命理師) and a private, non-commercial Feng Shui Practitioner (風水從業者); I observe these 3 personal precepts during consultation.
“3 Precepts”
When there is no Affinity, I’ll pass.
When it’s against Conscience, I’ll pass.
When it affects others’ Feng Shui, I’ll pass.
“ 三不做 ”
無緣者，不做。
違良心，不做。
損風水，不做。
“XKFS.Art” was conceptualise on 1 February 2019 (戊戌); with the aim of giving back my learning and insights back to the Metaphysics community. The posts are in snipplets and often key points to faciliate recollection and aha moments. Readers need to have some foundation knowledge in order for the information to be useful. The various section are gracefully denoted by Yang Stems (陽), as yang is a symbol of radiance, continuous improvement and producing.
“XKFS” is an abbreviated term in Feng Shui. It refers to Xuan Kong Flying Stars or Xuan Kong Fei Xing. XKFS is one of the discipline in Feng Shui application. It is the integration of the principle of Yin and Yang; alignment of 3-Yuan dragons, the interactions between the 5 elements, the understanding of the 8 trigrams, analysis of 9 palaces and the application of the 24 Mountains. XKFS particularly deals with the ‘Time’ aspect of Feng Shui.
“Art” in context could be read as “is” or “lives”; more importantly is a reminder to oneself of the Pliability in Chinese Metaphysics (玄學). Lastly and hopefully, may I be able to hand down the knowledge of Flying Star Feng Shui 「無常派玄空飛星風水」to the generation after me.
