The Heart Sutra (Translation)

The Bodhisattva of Compassion,When he meditated deeply,Saw the emptiness of all five skandhas. And sundered the bonds that caused him suffering.

Here then, Form is no other than emptiness, Emptiness no other than form. Form is only emptiness, Emptiness is the only form.

Feeling, thought, and choice, Consciousness itself, Are the same as this.

All things are by nature void, They are not born or destroyed, Nor are they stained or pure, Nor do they wax or wane

So, in emptiness, no form,No feeling, thought, or choice,Nor is there consciousness. No eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, mind; No colour, sound, smell, taste, touch, or what the mind takes hold of, or even act of sensing.

No ignorance or end of it, or all that comes of ignorance; No withering, no death,No end of them.

Nor is there pain, or cause of pain, Or cease in pain, or noble path. To lead from pain; Not even wisdom to attain. Attainment too is emptiness.

So know that the Bodhisattva Holding to nothing whatever, But dwelling in Prajna wisdom, Is freed of delusive hindrance, Rid of the fear bred by it,And reaches the clearest Nirvana.

All Buddhas of past and present, Buddhas of future time,Using this Prajna wisdom,Come to full and perfect vision.

Hear then the great dharani,The radiant peerless mantra, The PrajnaparamitaWhose words allay all pain; Hear and believe its truth!

Space Cleansing and Feng Shui

Space cleansing can never be really effective without the twin mediums of salt and rice. Salt is
one of the most powerful of cleansing agents while rice is a food offering to wandering earth spirits to ensure harmonious coexistence.

Space clearing plays a big role in enhancing the positive in the union of positive and negative. When space is properly cleansed negative vibrations are extinguished, positive energy is enhanced, and your living space feels cleaner, brighter, and lighter. Good fortune ceases to be an illusion and becomes reality.

In Feng Shui, holding a symbolic pagoda in your left hand while sprinkling rice and salt with your right hand is believed to cause any wandering spirit with evil or bad intentions to take fright and run.

The symbolic power of the pagoda is also invoked when it is incorporated into windchimes that are meant for pressing down on the bad luck of a particular corner or sector of the home.

New living space should always be cleansed, although there are several vital taboos that accompany the very powerful rice and salt ritual.

You should do this ritual only when moving into your own home, where you have a right to cleanse your space.

Never attempt to use rice and salt to do space cleansing for others. You do not know the history and provenance of homes other than your own, and when you undertake the rice and salt method of cleansing for others you do not know who, in the other realms of existence, you may be disturbing or offending.

Before you begin this space–cleansing ritual, always wash your hands and face. This is useful to remember each time you undertake any spiritually-connected cleansing. It is a humble act of respect for the wandering spirits of this earth, and it ensures that you do not inadvertently offend any of them.

Walk around the external parameters of the home in a clockwise direction, throwing a mixture of raw rice grains and sea salt on the ground, at the base of the walls. Make sire you have sufficient mixture before you start.

Always spend a few minutes tinning inwards and checking your motivation. Remember the purer your motivation, the more powerful you will be.

Repeat this inside the home, moving from room to room and walking in a clockwise direction around each room.

Finally, at the front door, throw three handfuls from the inside outward, and then throw three handfuls from the outside into the house; don’t throw too much of the mixture in each handful.

When you have finished, leave the rice and the salt on the ground until the next day before cleaning them away. Use a vacuum cleaner rather than a broom for clearing up. This is because the act of sweeping negates the good aspects of what you have done.

Aligning the 5 Energy

天,Heaven Energy is Mind and mental state, a collective intelligence that stands alone. Inspiration, idea, thru dreams we see solution and future, acumen. Knowing what to do at the right time. That connection with Akashi records. And we seek to take notice of it, so that we are conscious of these thoughts.

灵,Spirit Energy is the divine intelligence (or that life force) that give life to everything around us. That natural program code or order that governs a programmed path, just like a seed will grew into a tree. This also seen as the 7 chakra within the body – Crown, Brows, Throat, Heart, Solar Plexus, Sacral and Base Chakra.

地,Earth Energy is emotions of the person. And just as the environment around us which affects our mood and state of mental health. Happiness level would be low if the emotional state is counter-intuitive. The external is the catalyst and most of the time these are trigger that generate (internally) those feelings.

人,Human energy relates to the physical body, our general state of health – internally (organs) and externally (limps). We cannot achieve our dreams and goal if we lose the full co-operation of our body. To be able to do the things we would like to to; to achieve the success that we want, we need the full alignment in this aspect.

神,Deity would be the spiritual being above us, recording our events throughout the course of life, who we meet, what we do etc. It is usually passive but sometimes this deity will put up the necessary hurdles and throw us choice to be made. This is seen as the 5 other chakra that is outside (but around) the physical body – Consciousness, Spirit, Soul Light, Elemental and Universal Chakra.
