漸卦 (Gradual Progression Gua) prounced as Jiàn (pinyin) as in the verse 逐渐 – Zhú Jiàn is form by an upper Xun (巽) Trigram over a lower Gen (艮) Trigram. This means the fields, forest and vegetation that we see is not growm overnight; but took years for the trees to become strong and for the shrubs / grasses to cover the plains (as natural growth always takes time).
