損卦 (Wearing-Off Gua) the word 損 sǔn is translates as ‘Decreasing’. Hence, sometimes known as ‘Decreasing’ gua. The formation here is one in which an upper Gen (艮) Trigram meets with a lower Dui (兌) Trigram.
