離卦 (Fire Gua) is constructed of a lower Li (離) Trigram beneath an upper Li (離) Trigram. It plays a tremendous role in the lives of human evolution. Our ability to control fire set us on the path of invention toward our modern lifestyles. Fire can be seen as the heat of the sun without which life on earth could not exist.
離卦 (Fire Gua) also has a clinging nature as Fire cannot burn in isolation, without air and without fuel it will quickly exhaust and dies, therefore Fire needs something to cling to.
