Xu Gua (需卦) as the name suggest, needs one to have patience and wait – “需要等待”. Xu Gua (需卦) formation is made up of a lower Qian Gua (乾卦) Trigram and an upper Kan (坎) Trigram. The Qian (乾卦) represents Heaven and Kan (坎卦) represents water, so water stands in the way of Heaven.
Kan (坎) represents water in form of clouds or vapor. The coming rain may be able to water the crops. The visible clouds means that the rain is inevitable. It is just a matter of time and patience.
Success and goals does not come overnight, patience is necessary to tread the time when one is waiting. Yet, The upper Kan (坎) indicates the possibility of hidden danger in water during waiting.
需卦 (Waiting Gua) elements (五行) belongs to Fire (火); if the facing / sitting / door of the house or apartment is this Gua (卦), it is suitable for resident with annual pillar Metal Snake (辛巳), Wood Dragon (甲辰), Fire Snake (丁巳), Earth Rabbit (己卯).
