When I started Xuan Kong Feng Shui (玄空風水), mentors as well as classics have this verse that is to understand Xuan Kong, the knowledge lies in the five elements (明玄空，只在五行中).
So, when I got closer to understand about the five elements and their interaction in BAZI, QiMen and in Feng Shui, I seek harmony instead of balance. At the same time, I saw Oneness in the five elements, Oneness with nature, Oneness in relationship and Oneness in space and time (但，我後來看到的不是五個五行，而是 “一”，萬物歸 “一”). This appreciation brought me to seek insights from the heart sutra.
The Heart Sutra can be seen as a lay person’s philosophical text where affirmation and negation both exist at the same time. Metaphysics Practitioner could related this to iChing (易經) and Yin-Yang (陰陽), Ci Xiong (雌雄) , stillness and motion (動靜) –“色不异空, 空不异色, 色即是空, 空即是色”.
