1、准备六组物品
搬家入宅前要先准备下列六类日常生活的必须品：
①米：用米桶装八分满的米。米桶裏放一个红包，内藏纸币、茶叶及九个铜钱(或硬币)。
②水：用水桶装七分满的水(水要从旧居处取)。
③碗筷：为家中每人准备一套新碗筷，双数为吉。
④畚箕、扫帚一对，上面绑红布。
⑤为家中每人准备一套新的内衣裤、枕头及床单。
⑥旧有火炉、锅子及风扇。
搬家时将上述六类日常用品在所择定的吉时先搬进新居的厨房，然后其他物品才可搬进新宅。
如恐迁移后水土不服，另可携带一块旧居的泥土及姜入新宅。
要远行(出国)之人带点米及泥土随行，对克制水土不服听说颇为灵验。
乔迁离开旧宅之前，应在房间留下一个旧的钱包，内放五枚硬币，在厨房留下两个鸡蛋及一封红包袋，红包袋内放柏叶及双数币值的纸币一张)。最后一件物品或最后一个人要离开旧宅时，记得在旧宅之门前先洒一些米，然后再锁门离去。
2、祭拜新宅仪式
这项可根据当地民俗讲究来进行，可忽略。
搬入新宅后，当天下午黄昏时分，依习俗通常要祭拜“地基主”。据说“地基主”为土神或宅神，每栋房子都有，祭拜“地基主”能保家宅平安。或说“地基主”为宅地的先住者，俗称“开基祖”。因后来宅第被别人侵占或沦落别人居住，俗信应祀拜之，始免于祸害。传说中的“地基主”，身材不高，祭拜时要在厨房门口或新宅的后门处，且摆放供品的桌子不宜太高。
祭拜“地基主”的供品如下：
⑴家常饭菜：一碗饭、一肉、一菜及一汤。
⑵酒三杯。
⑶红烛一对。
⑷三柱香。
⑸寿金，刈金及土地公金等纸钱。
待三柱香已燃烧三分之一以上时，即可在新宅大门口旁，焚烧纸钱(寿金、刈金、土地公金)。烧完纸钱，收拾供品，祭拜“地基主”的仪式即算完成。

大运流年太岁的关系

1、命局、大运、流年三者关系：流年是第一层次，权力最高，不一定力量最强，是外因。大运是第二层次，是外因。命局是第三层次，属于内因。主要看岁运两个外因对内因的作用。看四柱内因发生何种吉凶变化。岁运是影响命局的，命局只能被作用而不能反作用于岁运。流年的力可作用于大运，使大运力量增减。流年是太君，代表一种权力，大运服从，命局也要服从。流年合住大运，四柱提示一种人生、社会关系，顺则昌，逆则亡。原命局是一种先天势态。大运可以改变先天势态使原局的喜用发生转换。
2、大运对原命局的力量有多少？在原命局有的字，可能直接进入命局，如果原命局没有的字，大运出现，只能起三成力量，外因是引发，外因通过内因起作用。如原命局卯，外因酉，只冲克三成，如原局有酉，就冲克死。
3、大运进入命局用神转换多少？大运可以改变日主旺衰，格局、流年不可改变直接应事。
4、流年吉凶看法：以流年支为主，一般情况流年支为喜用神此年吉，为忌神此年凶。一般流年天干不主吉凶，只主事情发生的象，当流年干在流年乘旺相状态时，也主吉凶。另外，当流年干合、克到用神时主凶。当流年干支都为忌神时不一定就有凶灾，只有克合用神时才有灾，不克合到用神只是不顺。
5、流年干支都主事情发生的项，干代表外相，表面的象，流年支代表内象，实质的象。往往支是干象的起因，流年干体现象的吉凶，多数由流年支决定。流年干支除本身代表的事项外，另外它冲克合到的那个十神所代表的象。
踩坟梅花断吉凶
见人坟上走不宁，那坟定然有伤心；
见人坟上被蛛网，火过官高两三场；
见人坟上扯庶技，那坟总隔必无气；
见人坟上屙屎尿，那坟冷退致损财；
见人坟上摸衣领，那坟定是主伤亡；
见人坟上手把树，那坟定主发大财；
见人坟上手摇扇，那坟定然有风流；
见人坟上扛把伞，那坟定然出好人；
见人坟上有水冲，那坟白蚁入棺中；
见人坟上竹青秀，半好半死不发财；
见人坟上有滕緾，那坟定然有吊颈；
见人坟上有木树，那坟定有木根穿；
见人坟上有青苔，那坟水气烂棺材；
